Overview
The Chattanooga Mocs men’s golf team is back in action this week at the Hootie at Bulls Bay. The 3-day, 54-hole event is in coastal South Carolina at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C. It continually attracts a strong field and is a good test for the Mocs as they continue working towards being postseason ready in April.
Quotable
“We’re looking forward to a great event. It’s a great opportunity to play in Charleston. I feel like we have done a good job being patient and getting a little better in each event.” – Coach Blaine Woodruff on what’s ahead
“This is the first time we’ve had this lineup. All five are rounding into form nicely. Our goal is to be in contention on the back nine (in the final round). We can get to that point by having 100 percent commitment and clarity on every shot. If all five guys do that, I have no doubt we will have a chance come Tuesday.” – Woodruff on the opportunity
