Corey Heim drives the No. 11 truck for TRICON Garage in the NASCAR Truck Series, but he already has a contract with a NASCAR Cup Series team. Heim is the reserve driver for 23XI Racing and is likely to be a part of the organization in the future. However, when will the Truck Series driver move to higher NASCAR levels?

According to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass, Heim will likely have to wait until the 2027 NASCAR season to be full-time in the Cup Series. Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, and Riley Herbst are all under contract, and a Cup Series organization can’t have more than three charters. As for the Xfinity Series, it still remains to be seen if Heim will be promoted for the 2026 season.

If not, Heim would likely return to TRICON Garage, but a move to the Xfinity Series could be coming sooner rather than later. Sam Hunt Racing would be a good landing spot for Heim, who has made several starts for the organization. The 23-year-old driver is nearing a full-time ride in the Cup Series, but it likely won’t be until 2027.
