Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
Winnipeg could be getting some blueline reinforcements soon, as Neal Pionk is skating in a regular jersey. He shed his non-contact jersey on Thursday, and Scott Arniel said that it’s a possibility that the Jets’ defender gets into game action on this three-game road trip. Winnipeg is 5-3-2 in their last 10 games played, and is looking to bounce back after a pair of losses to Nashville and Boston.
Pittsburgh Penguins News & Notes:
Pittsburgh hasn’t been too busy, but they have recalled Ryan Graves from a conditioning stint earlier this week. The Penguins continue to push for a playoff spot, and a win against the Jets gives them more cushion for controlling second in the Metropolitan Division. Pittsburgh is 4-3-3 in their last 10 games played and is looking to bounce back after an overtime loss to Carolina.
