Green Bay Packers pass-rusher Micah Parsons reacted to the United States flag football team’s lopsided wins over other squads filled with NFL stars at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic on Saturday.
Parsons wrote that Team USA was “giving us belt” in a post on X.
The U.S. men’s national flag football team dominated the other two squads primarily featuring NFL talent in Saturday’s event.
The United States started off with a 39-14 win over a Wildcats team that included Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, Saquon Barkley, Davante Adams and Jalen Ramsey.
Team USA followed it up with a 43-16 victory against a Founders team that contained Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, Ashton Jeanty, Stefon Diggs, Antoine Winfield Jr. and Von Miller.
Burrow is among several NFL players to publicly express interest in participating in the Olympics once flag football debuts as a sport in 2028, although U.S. men’s national team players are also targeting the 2028 Games.
After Saturday’s results, Parsons doesn’t seem to be confident in NFL stars making the Olympic flag football roster.
