Surely somebody of Lehmann’s stature could’ve gone somewhere better than Leicester who seem doomed for the play-off?
Speaking to Ellen White last week, Alisha Lehmann said she already had a close relationship with the general manager at Leicester and that she’d been around the club before and was impressed by the infrastructure.
She also was taken by Rick Passmoor’s approach, saying she “knew straight away he was a really good person”.
Even so, she probably doesn’t have a WSL relegation on her bucket list.
