LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women’s tennis team (10-5) kicks off the week on Monday with a road match at Longwood (6-5) at 2 p.m. from the New Lancer Courts.
The Lady Flames enjoyed a week off for spring break after splitting a pair of road matches, 2-5 at FGCU (March 13) and 4-1 at USF (March 15).
Liberty is 18-4 all-time against Longwood. They are enjoying a 13-match winning streak against the Lancers. Longwood last prevailed in 2010 with a 5-2 triumph.

Liberty owns a 52-28 (.650) singles record and a collective 27-12 (.692) doubles mark.
The Lady Flames are 30-12 (.714) in the bottom half of the singles lineup led by Candy Wai (5-1 at No. 4), Milana Tsulygina (3-1 at No. 5) and Celina Joseph (5-4 at No. 6).
Joseph and Wai are both 7-3 in their last 10 singles matches. Joseph (10-4) and Tsulygina (10-3) lead the team with 10 singles victories this spring.
Daniella O’Neill (8-3) has made her last 10 appearances in the No. 1 singles position (6-2).
Liberty’s No. 1 doubles pair of Yoanna Radulova and Maria Turchetto owns an 8-3 mark. The Lady Flames are 11-2 in the No. 3 doubles position, led by Joseph and Wai with a 5-2 mark.
