Harry Postma, age 89, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in his home at Holland Christian Homes.

Harry was born on April 1, 1936, to Sietse and Trijntje Postma(née Wielinga). He was the eldest of four children and a cherished brother to Tjerk (Emmy), Yke (Jan), and Andre.

In 1955, Harry moved to Canada, where he met the love of his life, Ena (née Veltman). They were married on October 3, 1959, and lived in Brampton where they eventually welcomed two sons and two daughters.

Harry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He lived a life grounded in simple joys and unwavering dedication. He found comfort in listening to Dutch hymns and spent countless hours watching Dutch choirs on YouTube. He looked forward each week to playing cards and having coffee socials with his friends at Holland Christian Homes. He loved spending time with his family!

Always ready with a warm smile and a kind word, Harry touched the lives of everyone he met.

Above all else, his heart belonged entirely to his beloved wife. His devotion to her was steadfast and profound—a true testament to a lifetime of love.

Harry is predeceased by his beautiful wife, Ena. He is survived by his children – Bruce (Jeannine), Alan, Melinda, Carolyn (David);
