Boxer Isis Sio, 19, is in a medically induced coma, according to a statement from ProBox TV, following injuries she suffered in her loss against Jocelyn Camarillo on Saturday night in San Bernardino, Calif.

Camarillo knocked out Sio with a series of punches to the head in the first round.

“Our thoughts are with her and her family at this very difficult time,” ProBox TV wrote in a statement. “Please join us in wishing for a full recovery.”

Sio had previously been knocked out by body punches in a loss against Perla Bazaldua in January.

“In this sport, we put everything on the line,” Camarillo wrote on Instagram. “Prayers to my opponent, hoping she recovers quickly and comes back strong.”
