LANES CLOSED: Delays on highway in Brampton due to crashed transport truck

Police have closed lanes on a busy Brampton highway following a crash on Monday.

The single-vehicle collision happened on Highway 410 at Sandalwood Parkway East, the OPP said in a social media post shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

Police say a transport truck was involved in the crash, and no injuries were reported. But officers have closed two left lanes of Highway 410 at Sandalwood Parkway East while an investigation and clean-up are underway.

Police say to expect delays, and are advising drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
