Bronx, NY – The University of Mount Saint Vincent returned to the tennis court for the first time since 2009, with the team’s return to play kicking off against Mount Saint Mary College on Sunday afternoon. The Dolphins may have fallen to the Knights 7-0, but excitement was felt throughout due to the team returning to competition. 

Luka Gelevski, Jacob Greiffenberger, David Hoagland, Brennan Sherman, Marti Senyer and Paul Simonet comprised of the competitors for UMSV, with Gelevski and Senyer, Greiffenberger and Simonet, and Hoagland and Sherman teaming up for doubles competition. 

The end result wasn’t what the team wanted, but the program is looking to build to create a formidable team for this year and beyond.Â
