A NASCAR reporter is spending the first portion of the 2026 season expecting her first child.

Alex Weaver, who works for both NASCAR and Fox Sports, revealed prior to the season that she and husband Stephen Colletti were expecting. She has since continued to cover the sport with which she has long been associated.

Weaver and Colletti, a reality TV star, first began dating in late 2021. They went “Instagram official” in August 2022. Colletti then proposed during a trip to Italy in 2023.

The wedding, a civil ceremony at the courthouse, took place in October 2025. Three months later, the couple posted on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together.

Weaver, like many people in the racing industry, splits her time between multiple roles. The Fox Sports side features her working as a pit reporter alongside Kaitlyn Vincie while covering ARCA Menards Series races. This includes the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway, which Giovanni Ruggiero won this season.

The NASCAR side features far more projects. For example, Weaver has served as the emcee of the Drivers Meeting that takes place before Cup Series races on the schedule. This meeting features a review of the important procedures for the race, as well as a recognition of select guests in attendance.

Additionally, Weaver has filled multiple roles at the annual NASCAR Awards Banquet. This includes time on the red carpet and on the stage.

She has also hosted numerous media projects for NASCAR, including the weekly Inside the Race show featuring former crew chief-turned-analyst Steve Letarte. She has hosted live shows at big media days setting up the Daytona 500 and the playoffs.

Given her history in the sport, it’s unsurprising that other teams have turned to Weaver for events throughout the season. This includes Hendrick Motorsports, which has brought her in as the host of some fan events.
