A man wanted for first-degree murder in a shooting two years ago has been arrested in Mississippi, Toronto police say.
Authorities say 28-year-old Adrian Walker was on Canada’s most wanted list for a 2024 deadly shooting.
Police have said they responded to the shooting in the Winona Drive and Vaughan Road area on May, 2024. One person died and another was seriously injured in the attack, they said.
Walker was arrested Monday and will be returned to Toronto to face murder and attempted murder charges.
The victim who died in the shooting has been identified as Trevor John, a 31-year-old from Toronto.
