Even Terrell from Clemson.

Feisty, quick, got some burst to him.

I, I love how he closes on the ball, and he, he’s just got that kinda knack for ball skills, how to punch stuff out, you know, at the, at the, point, point of catch.

Point of catch?

Why does that sound weird?

Catch point.

but, Terrell though, I know you’ve kind of been You, you’ve liked him throughout this process.

What do you think kind of like your final thoughts maybe on Terrell?

honestly, like a-a, he, he reminds me of his brother.

like, in a way that’s kind of interesting- In a structured way ’cause I remember w- Yeah.

Yeah.

‘Cause I remember when, when A.J.

Terrell got drafted, or, or I guess when he was going through the draft process, I, I remember I didn’t watch him until he was going through, until he’d gone through the combine.

He didn’t have the greatest combine.

He ran like, you know, over seven seconds in the three cone.

The jumps weren’t outstanding, you know, like his brother.

but then I watched the film and I was like, “Man, there’s That combine is not telling the whole story of like how just fluid he is, as a player.”

‘Cause like the ability to like mirror and stay in front of guys and run with them was really strong.

but what has stopped A.J.

from being, you know, a dominant cornerback is like, it’s like the lack of like super-duper high athleticism.

You know, he can do all the, all the things you wanna see from a cornerback and then, you know, y’all see Mike Evans twice a year, and that ends up usually going really, really badly, for him.

But, you know, most the game- most the time, like that’s someone that you want out there.

and I, I think that like the movement skills are, are obviously similar to his brother.

I think he’s g- probably gonna have to take that path of just being more of a, you know, maybe a technician that remi- that relies on, on just being able to stay in front of guys without the overwhelming like Jalen Ramsey, Sutann, Stanley level athleticism.

But like that’s a role that he can have in this league.

I, I kinda wonder if he’s gonna be a slot player moving forward.

Um- Yeah whi-which I think would kinda fit his ski-skill set, ’cause like you said, he’s not quite as big as A.J., even though they, they move, they do move similar.

but I, I still like him.

I still like him a lot.

I, I know some people have kinda cooled him in ’cause he’s not, you know, a super athlete, but I never thought that anyway, so I was watching the film.

So I’m not, you know, all too concerned, and I, I think like this is a guy who could be like a CB2, maybe a, a slot corner if things go well.

Again, you know, if he’s your best corner on your team, probably not going too well.

But as like a, a strong piece, especially if, if you have a good CB1, I think this is someone who could flourish.
