Looking for Easter-y things to do on Good Friday?

Just hop on down to the waterfront in White Rock, where Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary is holding its annual Bunny Hop.

Now in its sixth year, the family-friendly event takes place on the White Rock promenade next to the museum and features fun activities for all ages.

Festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with Mayor Megan Knight giving opening remarks.

From face painting, Korki Klown antics, a silent auction and 50/50 draw, live music, carnival games, and a flower booth to an Easter Egg hunt for the children, an Easter parade at noon and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, there will be plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

Hot dogs, popcorn, coffee and mini doughnuts will also be available.

Entry is $3 per child, the rest is by donation.

While the event is a great way to stay fit and active, it’s also a crucial opportunity to support the Auxiliary and Peace Arch Hospital, with 100 per cent of the proceeds from the event going toward the hospital, aiding in patient care programs, equipment purchases, building expansions, and renovations.

The goes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 3 at Memorial Park in White Rock, 14970 Marine Drive.
