It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the two teams. The Warriors bested the Wizards 125-117 in the first meeting earlier this month.
Steph Curry ruled out vs. Wizards due to lingering knee injury
The Warriors didn’t have the services of star guard Steph Curry in that first matchup, and it will be the same story the second time around.
Curry has been officially ruled out of the game against Washington due to the nagging knee injury that has stolen nearly two months of action from the future Hall-of-Famer.

Overall, it will be the 23nd consecutive missed game for Curry, whose last game action came against the Detroit Pistons back on Jan. 30.
On the season, Curry has appeared in just 39 games for Golden State and posted averages of of 27.2 points, 4.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.
At this point the Warriors are virtually locked into a spot in the Play-In Tournament. So all that really matters is that Curry is available for the tournament game(s).

Golden State has nine regular season games remaining before any tournament play. In a perfect world, Curry would get to play in at least a couple of those games in order to knock off some rust. We’ll have to wait and see if that happens.
