Toronto Maple Leafs sign D Hayes Hundley to three-year, entry-level contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the signing of defenceman Hayes Hundley to a three-year, entry-level contract beginning in the 2026-27 season.

The 21-year-old will join the AHL’s Toronto Marlies for the remainder of the 2026-27 season on an amateur tryout.

Huntley suited up in 38 games with St. Thomas University this season, scoring six goals and 12 points and was named to the CCHA All-Rookie Team.

The Upper Arlington, OH native right-handed blueliner previously played with the Fargo Force of the USHL where he scored four goals and 16 points in 58 games in 2024-25.
