Police found no evidence of shots fired in the area of the 16600 block of 61 Ave early Friday morning (March 27) in Cloverdale.
Members of the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) responded to a report of shots being fired around 4 a.m. Friday morning (March 27), police said.
Several people on social media reported being woken up by what sounded like two to four gunshots.
“However, after extensive patrols, interviews of others in the area and searches of properties for damage, the shots report was deemed to be unsubstantiated,” said Surrey Police media liaison Ian MacDonald.
