UPDATE: Police said shortly before 1 p.m. that Airport Road has reopened.

Police have closed a busy Brampton street and some Brampton Transit routes are on detours following a rollover crash on Friday.

Peel Regional Police say a tractor-trailer flipped near the intersection of Airport Road and Woodslea Road/Intermodal Drive around 10:30 a.m.

And while no injuries were reported, a road closure is in place while the clean-up and investigation are underway.

Southbound Airport Road has been shuttered from Clark Boulevard to Highway 407, and Brampton Transit says Routes 505/505A Bovaird, 5/5A Bovaird and 30 Airport Road southbound are on detour at Airport Road and Clark Boulevard.

Police are advising drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes.

#BTAlert: Routes 505/505A Bovaird, 5/5A Bovaird eastbound and 30 Airport Road southbound are on detour at Airport Rd. and Clark Blvd. due to a truck rollover. Please expect delays.
