Olney Sophomore Tessa Mitchell battles Lady Aces senior defender Emma Mayhue for the ball in the Lady Tigers’ dominant win against Mt. Carmel on Tuesday, 7-0. Richland County returned to action on Thursday, as the Lady Tigers traveled to compete at Mattoon.
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday, as they each will return to Richland County to compete in the Olney Lady Soccer Tournament. Olney and Salem will kick off the tournament at 10 a.m, and Monticello and Mt. Carmel will follow at 11: 30 a.m. Next will be the third and fourth place game at 1 p.m, and the first and second place game at 2:30 p.m.
