‘You have to go back to running the ball’: Former NFL RB explains resurgence of run game

The Pro Football Hall of Fame game gave football fans a taste of what they’ve been missing when the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers faced off in the first football action of the year.
The NFL preseason has arrived there’s a full slate of games on Saturday for football fans to enjoy. It’s not quite the regular season as many teams will only play their starters for part of the game but there’s still plenty of intrigue.
We’ll get a first look at Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward on the road against Tampa Bay. Depending on game script, we may see New York Giants rookie Jaxson Dart get some snaps against the Buffalo Bills.
This will also be the opening game for first-time head coaches like Liam Coen (Jacksonville) and Brian Schottenheimer (Dallas).
