Peel Regional Police warned residents of a large police presence for an investigation in Brampton on Monday morning.
Police have been in the Kennedy Road and Queen Street East area of the city since approximately 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, police said on X.
The police activity is contained to the area, and there is no active threat to public safety, police said.
There were no further details on the investigation.
Police asked residents, and those in the area, to follow the directions of officers.
