A popular Thai restaurant is bringing its newest — and biggest — location to the Greater Toronto Area next month. 

Chiang Mai is opening its largest eatery yet in Mississauga this April. And while the restaurant has yet to confirm its address, according to a City of Mississauga report, the new restaurant will be located at 285 Enfield Pl., close to Square One Shopping Centre. 

“The countdown is on — our newest Chiang Mai location is coming soon,” said the team. “We’ve felt the love, now it’s time to bring the flavour.”

The new spot will mark the restaurant’s sixth location in the area, after being established in 2018 in Etobicoke. Since its initial launch, Chiang Mai states it has rapidly emerged as the epitome of an elevated Thai dining experience.

“At Chiang Mai, we are known for some of the best authentic Thai dishes in the Toronto area,” the team said, noting “fresh, flavourful dishes (are) made with traditional techniques.”

Popular menu items include pineapple fried rice, khao soi, pad see ew, and green curry. Plus, the restaurant’s York Mills Road and Dundas Street West location also serves brunch. Bites include Thai milk tea French toast and a lobster khao soi benny. 

Outside of the Greater Toronto Area, Chiang Mai also participates in charitable initiatives and partnerships to contribute to causes that “uplift and enrich” neighbourhoods in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

“From fundraising events, to school supply donations, we are dedicated to making a positive impact,” the team states.
