The emergency room will now resume operations at noon tomorrow.
The facility shut down at 8 a.m. today due to physician shortages.

There will be a closure of the emergency department in Thessalon this week due to physician shortages.
The North Shore Health Network says the emergency room will shut down at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1. It’s not scheduled to reopen until 8 a.m. on Friday, April 3.
There will be a nurse practitioner available on site Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should still call 9-1-1. Ambulances will be re-routed.
