Through its Rabba Roots Community Giving Program and in partnership with Burnbrae Farms, Maple Leaf Foods and others, Rabba delivered more than 2,000 pounds of nutritious essentials.

This year’s donation features a wide range of staple and fresh items, in what has become an annual tradition, including the annual 5400 Burnbrae eggs, over 300 units of Carver’s Choice bacon, and 25 cases of Bush Brothers baked beans in a variety of flavours. Large amounts of fresh produce such as apples, pineapples, oranges and cantaloupes round out the donation, helping to provide balanced, nourishing options for families in need.

“Easter is a time for coming together, and we believe everyone deserves access to wholesome nutrition. This year’s donation focuses on high-protein items and fresh variety,” says Rima Rabba, who heads Rabba Roots. “Collectively, this 2,000-pound gift provides enough food for 2,000 meals ensuring local households have everything they need for a complete, heathy holiday.”
