Sudbury will enter the BSL post-season as the second seed with a record of 17-9, having narrowly ceded top spot to the KW Titans on the final day of the regular season this past weekend. Montreal, which dropped a pair of games in the Nickel City last week, finished a not-too-distant third at 15-11.

While the Five and Toundra meet this week, the Titans will take on the fourth-place Windsor Express in the other semifinal.

The Lake Erie Jackals finished fifth and did not make the playoffs.

Game 2 of the Sudbury-Montreal series, also hosted by the Five, is scheduled for Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

Game 3 and Game 4, if necessary, will be played at Centre Pierre Charbonneau in Montreal next Wednesday and Thursday, both at 7 p.m.

Should a fifth contest be needed, it will be back in Sudbury the following Saturday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m.
