WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary women’s golf travels to the Carolina Challenge Cup on Saturday for its final event prior to the CAA Championships. The single-day, 36-hole tournament will be a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. at the par-70 UNC Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Admission is free and parking is available for the public at the Finley Field Lot by the soccer/lacrosse/track complex on Old Mason Farm Road.

The Course
UNC Finley Golf Club is the home of the North Carolina Tar Heels golf programs. It was originally built by Raleigh businessman A. E. Finley in 1949 to a design by George Cobb. In 1999, designer Tom Fazio remodeled the course into a par 72 layout with five sets of tees ranging from 4,981 to 7,220 yards in length. Most recently, Carolina Golf Legend, Davis Love III renovated the course in 2023, transforming it into a par 70 layout.

Last Time Out
The Tribe finished eighth in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate last time out behind a 962 (+98). Four W&M individuals finished among the top half of the leaderboard led by junior Katie Suk, who was 24th with a 236 (+20). Junior Samantha Skinner earned a 31st-place finish with a 238 (+22), while sophomore Jennifer Osborne and freshman Reagan Garnsey placed 38th (240) and 39th (241), respectively.
Tribe News and Notes
– The Tribe is trending for great improvement this season compared to 2024-25. W&M currently is averaging 941.0 over 54 holes, which is on pace to be nearly 10 shots better than the team’s average from a season ago.
– W&M’s current round average of 316.75 ranks 17th in school history.
– Sophomore Jennifer Osborne and junior Faith Garcia lead the Tribe in scoring average at 77.70 and 78.88, respectively.
