The fawning over Prime Minister Mark Carney by these privileged people was nauseating; praising a prime minister who is usually anywhere but Canada and is rarely ever in the House of Commons. When he is there, he is never accountable for anything. Just empty, BS lectures.
I wonder if the next time we do see him he’ll still have grinning Michael Ma proudly sitting right next to him. Doubt it.

PM MAKES TIME FOR JUNOS
So our globe-trotting PM found the time, in between the many thousands of trade deals he’s making for the country, to attend the Juno Awards.
There he was at the Junos presenting a lifetime achievement award to a Canadian singer who still lives in the U.S., further proving that we are taxed to death here.

I half expected our cheesy PM to grab a microphone and karaoke his way through Cheap Trick’s 1970s hit I Want You To Want Me.

What kind of rose-coloured glasses does the mayor have on when he thinks a dreary photo of dirty snow, puddles, a discarded Christmas tree and a melted rink is nice?
Wow, he must use the same rose-coloured glasses in believing the city is well-run, property taxes are reasonable and the LRT is fixable.
Where can others get those rose-coloured glasses? It might improve all our moods if we had them.

The federal government does not give a hoot whether we prosper or do a good job. It only matters that the person can speak French and not so much English.
I recently spoke to an agent for the federal government who I assume was in Quebec and there was no way I could understand the English she was attempting to speak.
Having a French name probably helped Michael Rousseau get the Air Canada CEO job, but it did not save him.
