The NFL.com’s Chad Reuter has put together a five-round 2026 NFL mock draft. So how did things turn out for the Indianapolis Colts?

Let’s break down each selection and hand out a grade for the overall mock draft class.

Pick 47: De’Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss

A big wideout who’s been very good at picking up YAC and a willing blocker in the run game. Stribling very much fits the mold of what the Colts look for in a wide receiver and could compete for the WR3 snaps right away. That said, while adding to the receiver depth should be on Chris Ballard’s radar, with DE Malachi Lawrence and LB Anthony Hill Jr. still available in Reuter’s mock at this point, those would be more prudent picks, given the need at those positions.

Pick 78: Kamari Ramsey, S, USC

Ramsey played all over the defensive backfield but saw the bulk of his snaps come in the slot or at deep safety. For his career, he’s allowed just 8.4 yards per catch with two interceptions and 11 pass breakups. Despite adding Jonathan Owens and Juanyeh Thomas in free agency, along with the Colts being quite bullish on Hunter Wohler, an addition at safety isn’t out of the question. It’s not a given that any of those players provide the stability the Colts are looking for next to Cam Bynum.

Pick 113: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri

Landing Trotter in Round 4 would be a tremendous value for the Colts. From Day 1, Trotter would have the opportunity to start at linebacker for Indianapolis. This past year, with Missouri, Trotter was one of PFF’s highest graded run defenders at the linebacker position. He also logged 14 pressures and three sacks as a blitzer. In coverage, he allowed 27 completions on 32 targets at 8.8 yards per catch. Trotter did not log any ball production.

Pick 156: Caden Curry, EDGE, Ohio State

Curry saw a big jump in production last season, posting 46 pressures and 12 sacks, according to PFF. He was also one of PFF’s highest graded run defenders at this position group. Curry likely won’t provide the Colts with the instant starting presence that they need to pair with Laiatu Latu, but he can boost competition and help raise the floor of this unit.

Grading the Colts’ 2026 NFL mock draft

The Colts addressed arguably their top four biggest needs in this mock, although they did so in a bit of an unconventional manner. Overall, this would be a draft haul through five rounds to feel quite good about. That said, from a need and value standpoint, addressing edge rusher sooner is the one change that would have to take place. For me, seeing the Colts pass on Anthony Hill Jr. at linebacker wasn’t easy either.
