The Sudbury Five will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead in their best-of-five Basketball Super League semifinal series against the Montreal Toundra on Saturday night and The Sudbury Star will be there once again to provide full coverage.

Ben Leeson will run a live blog beginning at 6:45 p.m., 20 minutes before scheduled tipoff, and provide live updates and discussion throughout the evening. We’ll follow with a story to wrap up the weekend’s action, including Sudbury’s 105-96 win in Game 1 on Friday, as well as a video from the post-game press conference.

Duane Notice led the way for the Five at Sudbury Community Arena on Friday with 28 points, with Alex Kotov adding 17, DeVante Jamison 16, Charlie Marquardt 12, Emmanuel Akot 11 and Tyquane Goard 10.
Tafari Beckford had 26, Jeremy Hayes 17, Ketarrious Bouchum 16 and Kyle Steward nine for Montreal.
Game 3 and Game 4 of the series, if the latter is necessary, will be played at Centre Pierre Charbonneau in Montreal next Wednesday and Thursday, both at 7 p.m.
Should a fifth contest be needed, it will be back in Sudbury the following Saturday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m.
Winners of the Five-Toundra series will face the victors in the other semifinal between the KW Titans and Windsor Express in the BSL Finals.
