Kaulig Racing’s five Ram 1500 entries took the green flag together for the fifth time in the 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season Friday afternoon at Rockingham Speedway.

Corey LaJoie led the Ram contingent with an eighth‑place finish, followed by Justin Haley in 13th, Ty Dillon in 23rd, Timothy “Mini” Tyrrell in 26th, and Brenden “Butterbean” Queen in 28th.

LaJoie’s result marked the fourth top‑10 finish for a Kaulig Ram 1500 in the first five races of the 2026 season.

Corey LaJoie — No. 10 Ram 1500

Corey LaJoie made his first start of the season in the No. 10 Ram 1500 and delivered a strong showing with an eighth‑place finish.

LaJoie started 23rd and slipped a few positions early before finishing 19th at the end of Stage 1. He battled a free‑handling truck in Stage 2 and crossed the line 14th. When the race set up for a 28‑lap shootout, LaJoie restarted eighth, the final truck on the lead lap, and held his position to the checkered flag.

“We lined up eighth at the pay window when it opened late in the race, so I’ll take that. If we just execute and control what we can, we should be able to run eighth to 10th every week. That’s what we did. There’s still some potential to be found in the trucks, but it was cool working with the team for the first time and building the notebook with these Ram 1500s.”

Justin Haley — No. 16 Ram 1500

Justin Haley continued to gain experience at Rockingham in his first competitive visit to the track.

Haley started and finished Stage 1 in 17th. During Stage 2, he reported the truck was bouncing in the rear and finished 20th. Haley mounted a strong charge in the final stage, climbing toward the top 10 before losing a lap. With only eight trucks remaining on the lead lap, he brought the No. 16 home 13th.

Justin Haley — Quote

“I’ve never been here, so just getting laps was my goal, and practice was rain‑shortened. We unloaded okay and lost the balance along the way, but we got it back near the end. We just lost a lap. We’ll move on to Bristol — it’s one of my favorites — and keep building.”

Ty Dillon — No. 25 Ram 1500 (Free Agent Program)

Ty Dillon started 28th in the Ram Free Agent entry and immediately encountered the same issues that plagued the team in practice and qualifying — only worse in race conditions.

Despite multiple pit stops and attempts to correct the problems, the truck remained off the pace. Dillon ultimately finished 23rd.

Timothy “Mini” Tyrrell — No. 14 Ram 1500

In his Rockingham debut, Mini Tyrrell showed encouraging speed early.

Tyrrell finished Stage 1 on the lead lap and improved to 21st by the end of Stage 2. An additional pit stop in the final stage dropped him back in the running order, resulting in a 26th‑place finish.

Brenden “Butterbean” Queen — No. 12 Ram 1500

Brenden “Butterbean” Queen started 11th and wasted no time breaking into the top 10 during the opening laps.

He finished 12th in Stage 1, but contact with the wall during Stage 2 set him back, leaving him 23rd at the stage finish. A stop for what he believed was a flat tire dropped him further behind, and he finished 28th.
