Anthony Hernandez called for a title shot after making it eight wins in a row at UFC Vegas 109.
The middleweight contender squared off against Roman Dolidze after Steve Erceg snapped his losing streak in the co-main event.
Anthony Hernandez was utterly dominant en route to a fourth round submission victory on Saturday night.
Post-fight at UFC Vegas 109, ‘Fluffy’ called for a shot at the 185lb belt, which will be on the line when Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev headline UFC 319 on August 16.

Hernandez mixed his wrestling and strikes well to win round one, but he really stepped his game up several levels when the second stanza began.
Dolidze was overwhelmed on the feet and the ground during a five-minute frame that ended with Hernandez on the verge of scoring a TKO victory.
The ‘Fluffy’ team thought the fight had been waved off by veteran referee Herb Dean, but the horn sounded to save Dolidze and allow him to see another round.
It was more of the same in the third frame. Hernandez scored a big knockdown and battered his opponent, who did well to make it to the championship rounds.
The mauling continued in round four. Hernandez eventually locked up a standing arm triangle choke to get the tap and stretch his win streak to eight in a row.
During his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier, he called to fight for the middleweight title.
Hernandez said: “I want a title shot. What the f— have I got to do?
“Give me a title shot and I promise I’ll be the next champ.
“I want to prove I can take a title… I want to prove I’m the best in the world.”
UFC Vegas 109 weigh-in drama
One of the headliners found themselves at the center of weigh-in drama on Friday
Three fighters stripped naked and still missed weight on their first attempt ahead of UFC Vegas 109.
Most notably, Hernandez initially came in 0.5lbs over the 186lb middleweight limit.
‘Fluffy’ and the other two fighters who missed their mark were given an hour to put things right.
Thankfully, all three of them made weight on the second attempt to avoid a fine and all controversy.
