Ukraine’s leading women tennis players retained strong WTA positions this week, while one rising star climbed dramatically after a WTA 500 final.
Last week, Ukrainian women’s tennis leaders held their positions in the top 50 of the WTA world rankings.
Elina Svitolina remained the world No. 7, Marta Kostyuk at No. 27, and Dayana Yastremska at No. 49.
According to the official WTA rankings, the fourth Ukrainian racket became Yulia Starodubtseva, who after the WTA 500 final in Charleston rose to No. 53 (+36 positions).
Aleksandra Oliynykova this week rose to No. 68 (+3). Daria Snigur dropped three spots and now sits at No. 96 in the rankings.

In doubles, Lyudmyla Kichenok remains the top Ukrainian tennis player in the world rankings, retaining 26th place.
