Environment Canada has ended a snow squall warning for parts of the province, including Winnipeg.
A narrow but intense band of snow moved across Manitoba and into Winnipeg during the early morning commute.
Snowfall rates at times hit around five centimetres per hour before the system moved out.

Forecasters warned that while the snow may be brief, it could be intense enough to reduce visibility to near zero at times, creating rapidly changing and dangerous travel conditions.
Drivers were urged to slow down, allow extra time, and consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
The snow squall has since moved out of the Red River Valley, and conditions are starting to improve.
