Man wanted after allegedly following 13-year-old girl in Toronto

Toronto Police are searching for a suspect after a 13-year-old girl was allegedly followed in a criminal harassment incident in Toronto’s east end.

Investigators say the incident happened on Monday, April 6, 2026, at around 4 p.m., in the Swanwick Avenue and Hannaford Street area. The girl was walking home when a man blocked her path on the sidewalk. She managed to get past him, but he then began following her.

Police say the girl was able to flee the area safely, and officers were contacted shortly afterward.

The suspect is described as approximately five-foot-10 with a medium build and shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweater, blue jeans and black shoes. Police have released an image of the suspect.
