Every lottery player dreams of one day winning the jackpot, and for one Lotto Max player, that just became a reality.
The Lotto Max draw took place on Tuesday, April 7, and the winning numbers were 03, 08, 15, 19, 23, 29, and 37, and bonus 04. According to PlayNow, someone matched the seven winning numbers to score the jackpot. The winner just won a life-changing $75-million Lotto Max jackpot after purchasing their ticket in Penticton, a small city in the Okanagan Valley of B.C.
There were other winners, too.
Two people will split the second prize after they each matched six of the seven numbers and the bonus number. The tickets were sold in Langley, B.C., and Brampton, Ont. The third prize will be shared among 73 winners who’ll each take home $3,977.60 after they all matched six of the seven numbers.
Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw included 12 Maxmillions prizes, and four Canadians each scored $1 million. The tickets were sold in Ottawa, Ont., B.C., and two in Western Canada.
In B.C., no one won the $500,000 Lotto Max Extra prize; however, someone in Ontario did win the $1-million Encore prize after purchasing their ticket in Grey County.

The last time someone won a Lotto Max jackpot was on March 3, when a winner from Ontario won the $75-million jackpot.
The next draw is on Friday, April 10, and the top prize is worth $18 million.
Lotto Max players across Canada should take note — the price of lottery tickets are going up this week.
The standard $5 ticket will now cost you $6 per play. In an email to Daily Hive, Tony Bitonti, director of media relations at OLG, stated that the new ticket price will go into effect on Friday, April 10, when ticket sales resume after the “draw break.”
