Three people including a Brampton man have been charged following a drug bust in southern Ontario.
The OPP says the raid happened earlier on Friday at a home on Scott Avenue in Simcoe as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Investigators say three people inside the home were arrested, and a search turned up suspected cocaine and crack cocaine, Canadian currency, drug-related paraphernalia and a prohibited weapon.
The OPP says Camall Brown-Williams, 33, of Brampton, has been charged with multiple offences, including two counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, and unauthorized possession of weapon.
Kyle Spencer, 32, and Darlene Johnston, 65, both of Norfolk County, have also been charged with two counts each of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
Brown-Williams and Spencer were held for bail hearings on Friday, while Johnston is scheduled to make a court appearance on April 21.
