A woman is facing impaired driving charges following a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga, which sent four people to hospital early Saturday morning.

The collision happened around 1:40 a.m. near Glen Erin Drive and Aquitaine Avenue and involved a red Ford Explorer SUV and a black Volkswagen sedan.

Two people were reportedly in each vehicle at the time of the crash. All four occupants were taken to a hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

Updates on the victims conditions are unknown at this time.

The driver of the Volkswagen was reportedly arrested by police and faces impaired driving-related charges.

The roads in the area have since reopened while the investigation remains ongoing.
