As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to evolve, so do the tactics used by digital fraudsters.

Following a successful introductory session on AI, we are hosting a critical follow-up workshop focused on the new frontier of cybercrime: AI-driven scams.

While AI brings significant benefits and opportunities, it has also transformed the landscape of everyday fraud. Today’s scams are more convincing and harder to detect than ever before. From ultra-realistic voice cloning to highly sophisticated phishing emails that evade traditional warning signs, the rules for staying safe online have fundamentally changed.

This upcoming session will provide participants with an inside look at how these emerging technologies are being used to deceive individuals and organizations. More importantly, it will equip attendees with practical knowledge and strategies to recognize and avoid these threats.

This session is designed to pull back the curtain on how these technologies are being used and, more importantly, how you can stay one step ahead. We want to empower our community with the tools to leverage a helpful innovation like AI, but to also understand and be armed to deal with the threats it brings about.

This program is being held on Saturday, May 2, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the north branch library. Seating is limited and registration is required. Registration starts on April 14. For more information and to register, please call 705-759-5248.
