Scott Porteous, Rollin Penner and Troy Toderian team up for tour of Northern Ontario
Three of Winnipeg’s most distinct comedic voices are joining forces this April for The Comedy Invasion Tour, a multi-city run promising a rare blend of national experience, television pedigree, and “dangerist” absurdity.
The comedy tour across Northern Ontario, which visits Sudbury April 17, features Scott Porteous, Rollin Penner, and Troy Toderian — three performers who have collectively graced stages from local comedy clubs across Canada to the national spotlight of Canada’s Got Talent and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
“I’m incredibly excited to be traveling alongside comedians with such a pedigree of
credits,” said Porteous, the tour’s producer and featured performer. “It’s going to be a series of fun and unpredictable shows.”
Rollin Penner, the tour’s breakout star, is equally eager to bring the Winnipeg spirit to new
audiences. “Performing comedy is a great way to see the world, and what better place to start than small-town Ontario?” he said.
The Sudbury show takes place at 8:30 p.m. April 17 at Little Montreal. Please note it’s a 19+ event.
