Cameron Young is going for the biggest win of his professional career at the 2026 Masters.
The 28-year-old American began the first men’s major of the year dreadfully, playing his first seven holes in four-over par.
But since then the PGA Tour golfer, who proved his metal at the 2025 Ryder Cup last September and won the Players at famed TPC just four weeks ago, has been on a tear.
A 67 on Thursday saw him comfortably make the cut and a stunning 65 yesterday lifted Young to a 54-hole score of 11-under par.
On his fifth visit to Augusta National, Young will play in the final group alongside the defending champion Rory McIlroy.

Young will be supported outside the gallery ropes by his wife Kelsey, their three children and his parents David and Barbara.

New York-born Young tied the knot with Kelsey when he was just 23 years old.
The couple said ‘I do’ in a private ceremony shortly after he turned professional in 2021. His caddie, Scott McKean, was his best man.

Young and Kelsey have reportedly known each other since they were kids, but their relationship deepened while both attended Wake Forest University.
They got to know each other better while Cameron Young played hockey with her brother.
Although Kelsey is frequently spotted watching her husband at PGA Tour events, she is not a huge of the sport.
Her parents aren’t too keen on golf, either, Young previously said.
Young previously joked to Golfweek: “It’s actually great for me, because the last thing I want to do when I get home is answer questions like, ‘Why’d you pull a 9-iron on 16?’ That would make my head explode, so that’s been a blessing.”

Young and Kelsey got engaged in 2019. It is unknown where their wedding ceremony was held or where Young got down on one knee.
Kelsey continues to life a very private life and is not on any form of social media.
The couple live in Jupiter Island, Florida, near many other high-profile professional golfers such as Tiger Woods, McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler and Shane Lowry.
They have three children. Henry was born in 2022, John followed a year later and their daughter Vivienne was born last year.

He birdied the iconic par-three 17th at TPC Sawgrass to take a one-shot lead down the 72nd and held to defeat England’s Matthew Fitzpatrick after hitting the drive of his life.
Young, who is generally quite subdued on the golf course and keeps his emotions in check, paid tribute to Kelsey after he got his hands on the trophy.
“None of this is possible without my wife Kelsey and my family,” he told the Golf Channel.
“She works incredibly hard on all of our behalf. I mean, it’s constant.
“They travel all the time, so she holds up that part of it at home, and does it all on my behalf, so I can go do my job and chase my dreams.”
