Dolly Martinez, who appeared on Season 10 of TLC’s My 600-Lb. Life has died at the age of 30, according to posts shared by her family, with no cause of death having been publicly revealed.
Martinez was featured on the long-running reality series as she documented her struggle with food addiction, mental health, and severe obesity. She said food had become her way of coping, while also detailing how her health had deteriorated to the point where she needed oxygen and help with everyday tasks.

At the beginning of her journey on the show, Martinez weighed 593 pounds. She later moved from Fort Worth to Houston to be closer to Dr. Younan Nowzaradan in the hope of qualifying for weight loss surgery, but despite losing around 40 pounds, she was not approved for the procedure.

In the tribute, Lindsey remembered Dolly for having the “brightest personality” and said her laughter and kindness could light up any room. She also wrote that the family was heartbroken and said she found comfort in believing Dolly had been reunited with their father.
