In his Pump Club newsletter earlier this week, Schwarzenegger shared a throwback-style workout that is inspired by Golden Era training.

The full-body dumbbell circuit uses upper-lower supersets to maximize intensity while keeping rest minimal. It ends with one of Arnold’s favorite arm-shocking techniques—the Stripping Method—designed to leave your biceps burning.

“This workout captures a classic training mindset: push hard, embrace the pump, and finish with pride,” Schwarzenegger says. “It’s not a method you should do often, but it’s a fun method to shock the muscle and challenge you mentally to push through fatigue.”

Each superset includes two moves, performed back-to-back with little to no rest. After both exercises, rest for two minutes. Do three total rounds of the superset before moving to the next pair.
