UPDATE: The crash has cleared and the highway has reopened, according to Ontario 511.
Traffic is backed up on a busy Mississauga highway following a crash on Monday.
The multi-vehicle collision happened on westbound Highway 403 near Mavis Road shortly before 6 p.m., according to Ontario 511.
Video from the scene shows several police vehicles, tow trucks and a Peel Regional Paramedic Services ambulance on the scene. A paramedic spokesperson was not able to confirm whether there were any injuries reported.
A sedan can be seen crashed into the rear end of an SUV with emergency crews gathered around.
All westbound lanes of Highway 403 have been closed at Mavis Road. Drivers should expect delays and find alternate routes if possible.
