Investigators are searching for suspects and are asking the public for help following a shooting north of Brampton last week.
The shooting happened around 3:45 a.m. on Friday at a home on Camino Real Drive in Caledon, the OPP says.
No injuries were reported, but police have released photos of a grey Honda sports utility vehicle that was seen leaving the area. One of the photos also shows a suspect pointing what appears to be a handgun at a residence.
And while investigators say it is believed that the shooting was targeted, it isn’t related to extortion incidents where South Asian residents have been targeted in recent years.
“At this time, investigators believe this was a targeted incident with no outstanding threat to public safety,” police said while urging residents “to remain vigilant” and report any suspicious activity to police.
