Do Canadian elections or backroom deals determine our governance?
The prime minister is thumbing his nose at the will of Canadians. If the floor-crossers had an ounce of integrity, they would run in byelections and allow riding constituents to either support or reject a change of party.
At the end of the day, democracy — and our faith in our system — is seriously undermined by self-serving floor-crossers who claim to have integrity but whose actions might be construed otherwise.

A BOVINE NATION
Is it any wonder that yet another Conservative MP has crossed the floor to the Liberal party that stands for everything that any real conservative should abhor?
Canada is a bovine nation where the only principle, if it can be called that, is to stupidly wander over to where the grass appears to be greener and more munchable. Nothing else matters.
The farm is going bankrupt and a great drought is on the horizon, but what do dairy cattle mooing among the thistles and cow flops care?

With yet another traitorous MP crossing the floor, I wonder what happened to make common-sense politicians who cared for Canadians and our country do an about face to become members of one of the worst governments this country has ever seen?
They all claim to have consulted or heard from constituents. Sorry, I don’t buy it. If those voters wanted a Liberal, they would have voted in a Liberal to begin with. We no longer have a democracy, and if we did there would be byelections to allow voters to decide.

THE ‘COMMONS SHUFFLE’
We have a Liberal government in power like an authoritarian degenerative regime.
All those phoney dancers doing the “Commons Shuffle” do not represent the constituents who elected them. Canada needs a new national election; make it this summer.
It has been said, “The government you elect is the government you deserve.” We elected these double-crossing MPs who are now giving us the middle finger. Stupid us. We never learn.
