Former South Shore executive Emma Lehrer has been appointed to the role of head of production at UK unscripted prodco Boldprint, continuing the expansion of its senior leadership team.

Reporting to CEO Phil Harris, she will work closely with creative director Lou Hutchinson at the London-based company. Founded in 2024, Boldprint produces shows such as Swiped: The School that Banned Smartphones (Channel 4) and the upcoming Would You Rather: Decide to Survive (Prime Video).
Lehrer joins from South Shore, where she served as head of production, overseeing the company’s content slate and leading production strategy.
Her CV also includes a near six-year tenure at commercial broadcaster ITV, working her way up to the position of production executive.
With more than 20 years of experience, Lehrer has credits on projects including The Voice, Dancing on Ice, Rugby World Cup, The Invictus Games, and Freddie’s Field of Dreams on Tour.
Her appointment follows Boldprint’s January hire of Dan Gray as head of programmes and the promotion of Jack Adcock to head of development.
Harris said: “People are everything to us at Boldprint and we’ve got another great one in Emma.
“She’s a smart, thoughtful leader who brings an outstanding track record of consistently delivering ambitious, large-scale productions. Her appointment marks the start of the next exciting period of growth for the business.”
Lehrer said: “Boldprint is all about bold ideas and brilliant people, which is exactly the kind of environment I thrive in. I’m excited to be part of the team and to help bring the next wave of standout productions to life.”
