Sex Lives of College Girls – Canceled After 3 Seasons
Streamer: HBO’s Max
Canceled: March 18, 2025
On Tuesday (March 18), it was announced that Max will not pick up the show for a fourth season. The show’s producers are reportedly attempting to re-home the series with Netflix…but so far, we’ve heard no news about the show being saved.
Renee Rapp, who played Leighton Murray, departed The Sex Lives of College Girls during season 3. This is believed to have impacted the show’s drop in viewership and critical response, potentially attributing to Max’s decision to cancel.
The series premiered on Max in 2021, and the season 3 finale aired in January 2025. It also stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rodgers.
