Men’s singles
Everyone still remembers the unforgettable final of the 2025 edition, won by Carlos Alcaraz against his great rival Jannik Sinner. Will the world’s two leading players once again make it to the final and deliver a sequel to that thrilling showdown? Given their current form and their overwhelming dominance over the rest of the field, such a scenario certainly seems plausible.
But the list of challengers for the title is long, starting with Alexander Zverev, finalist in 2024 and current world No.3. Defeated at the final hurdle of the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic will also have his say, as he so often does on the Grand Slam stage. Meanwhile, the established contenders and a fearless young generation will do everything they can to disrupt the order imposed by the Big Two.
In the men’s draw, two players will benefit from a special ranking: Zhizhen Zhang (No.60) and Thanasi Kokkinakis (No.84). Unfortunately, Frenchman Arthur Cazaux (No.70) will not be able to take part in the 2026 edition due to an elbow injury.
