ROAD CLOSED: Victims rushed to hospital following serious crash in Brampton

Two people are fighting for their lives in hospital after an SUV crashed into a transport truck in Brampton on Tuesday, police say.

The two-vehicle collision happened around 3:15 p.m. at Williams Parkway and Airport Road in Brampton, Peel Regional Police say.

An SUV crashed into a transport truck, and a male and a female victim have been rushed to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition.

No other details about the victims have been disclosed by police.

Police have closed the intersection of Williams Parkway and Airport Road while the investigation is underway. Officers say drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
