The Dallas Wings again strengthened their roster via free agency by signing Alysha Clark, a veteran with 13 years of league experience and three WNBA championships.

DALLAS — The Dallas Wings have added some veteran leadership to their roster by signing forward and defensive specialist Alysha Clark, the team announced Tuesday.

Clark brings 13 years of WNBA experience and a championship pedigree to Dallas, having played for Seattle, Washington and Las Vegas across her accomplished career.

A 5-foot-11 forward known for her defensive intensity and versatility, Clark is one of only five active players to appear in more than 400 WNBA games. She’s averaged 6.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 47.7% shooting over 423 career appearances.

In 2025, Clark opened the season with the Seattle Storm before a midseason trade sent her to the Washington Mystics.

Wings Executive Vice President and General Manager Curt Miller called her signing in Dallas a key move aimed at bolstering the team’s experience and leadership.

“Our goal during this offseason was adding additional veteran leadership to our locker room,” Miller said in a statement. “AC is a respected veteran in this league and brings versatility to our roster… She has many of the intangibles we were looking for,”

Clark’s résumé includes three WNBA championships — two with Seattle (2018, 2020) and one with Las Vegas (2023) — along with honors including Sixth Player of the Year and All-Defensive First Team recognition. Statistically, she ranks among the league’s most efficient scorers, with the third-highest effective field goal percentage (.567) in WNBA history.

Beyond the WNBA, Clark has enjoyed a globe-spanning career, competing in France, Turkey, Poland and Israel. Most recently, Clark helped lead Team Eclipse to the 2026 Athletes Unlimited championship.

She is one of many key free agents joining a refreshed Wings franchise this offseason.

Of course, the biggest move the team has made this offseason came during during Monday night’s WNBA Draft, where with the No. 1 pick for the second straight year, the Wings selected Azzi Fudd, reuniting the 5-foot-11 guard with former UConn teammate Paige Bueckers.

The Wings open the 2026 season on the road against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. The first home game at College Park Center in Arlington is on Tuesday, May 12, at 7 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream.
